  Answer: To know the "real" thoughts and feelings of people that are afraid to express themselves at their local KH. It is somewhat interesting and entertaining as people say things on this web site and other sites that they would never say in person to a group of JWs or to the entire Cong. Some might, most will not.

  i would say it would be the catholic cause you can do just about any dam thing you want.

  and if you feel like you need to be close to god or something you can always go light some candles and wear a cross or put on a pointed hat or a white collar or deprive yourself of women or men in the case of nuns.

  and you get to hear funny boys sing chants, and you also can put some real holly water on your head that the priest got from the sink oh and you can wear saint christopher's.

  a jw relative brought out something i actually had to agree with.

  we were discussing positive vs. negative aspects of the "truth".

  she brought out that the witnesses do not participate in war, and i thought 'gee, that's probably a good thing'.

  My thoughts on Mexican immigrants

  one of the pressing issues in the california election is (as always) the presence of "illegal" immigrants who come into our country, work under the table, and send money home.. my position on this matter, since i am a republican, might surprise you, but i favor no immigration restrictions at all with mexico!

  the mass immigration would solve many problems - there are many jobs, entry level and low-paying, that americans won't take because they don't pay enough.

  fruit picking, for instance.

  After reviewing this information and a thousand other examples of hypocrisy by the WTB&TS, I often wonder why the average JW is so blinded by the "real truth," the FACTS and the unquestionable examples of deceit and misrepresentation and of course the great HYPOCRISY fostered by a group of men that have let PRIDE and self-worth prevent them from admission of guilt.

  This shame is accepted and ignored by most JWs. None of the R&F as well as the average JW, have any conscience or ability or desire to help make a change for the better. Many -- MAY pay "lip service" but very FEW will take any action! How sad!

  political threads seem to be the one which generate the most vitriolic arguments on this board.

  please stay away from arguments in this thread.. i'd like to know what type of political philosophy you enodorse, not just some results from an on-line test.

  furthermore, i'd like to know why you feel the way you do and what criticisms could be laid against your philosophy.

  I vote for and support: For the best, common sense solutions to the various problems which we face each day. I try to use the FACTS and complete information and I LEAVE emotion and the overwhelming bull crap and lies out of the equation. It is hard to know what is fact and fiction when so many people lie to each other and the public on a daily basis. If some political person says something, check out the FACTS. There is a difference!

  However when it comes to politics, all "common sense" goes out the window for most people. Most want the "Touchy--feely" approach. And the emotions run amuck and replace solid thought and logical thinking. Kinda reminds me of the Borg-Org.
